I'm considering keeping them regardless. They are docile and quiet and do not harass the other birds. And they add some color to my flock of Austrolorp, Maran and Welsummer hens.
I don't know the different comb types so I'm not sure how to answer that. Now that I study the pics, they probably are both Maran/Austrolorp crosses. I bought a flock that included mostly Marans and Austrolorps and a few of these cross-type birds.
