I have only given grit to Chickens who have no access to the ground and chicks in brooders and even then It is not a steady diet of it. Usually once or twice a week seems to work well. So if you chickens are on the ground I would not worry about it. They are good to go.
So the other two hens in the coop lay a pale blue egg and a darker brown egg. So per genetics a blue egg will never be green and a brown egg will never be green either. So then the only other source for the egg is the chick and no other birds can get into the run and coop.
the larger egg is a 1.2 oz. egg from one of my 22 week old project girls that started laying yesterday as well. She is in a breeding pen with another rooster and hen. So the little egg didn't come from them.
