Hey guys, I've got a silkie hen that was brought into my work today (wildlife rescue) and apparently she was found in a riverbed with leeches attached to her leg and in her nostril :(
No leeches now but she's very dirty and underweight. What do I need to do? I've got the medicated powder for...
From a bit of googling, I think one of my hens has IB. The only symptom she has is wrinkly deformed eggs and watery egg whites. In all other ways, the whole flock is healthy. No signs of respiratory distress or reduced appetite, just the egg issue.

I've just rescued my first duck too, she's not in a good way though, poor thing :( But hey, hopefully I'll be posting mostly positive things on here!
Hi, I really need some help. I've rescued a wild mallard duck that is absolutely emaciated, so badly underweight that she can't stand. The vet checked her over thoroughly, she's not injured but is so badly starved I don't know if she'll survive...
Weird thing is her crop is quite hard, but she...
