    Oh I was just going off the site’s care sheet for bobwhite. So multiple males and a harem of females could fit in that size of coop assuming there is adequate cover and stimulation to avoid aggression?

    I am sorry I cannot contribute because I have no experience with chukars, but hopefully this will draw some attention to your questions. I completely understand the stress of not fully knowing how to care for a rescue bird. Maybe try and google it, look for other forums with similar questions.

    Hey Wildwings I actually had a question about feeding in your current main aviary - I assume you give higher protein food items to the divers, but how do you keep the dabblers from getting it? Do you use the sinking kind that the dabblers cant reach because its at the bottom? Many thanks

    Lol those are hilarious. Reminds me of this time I went to Costa Rica and got up before dawn. I looked out my open window at this tree with all these sleeping parakeets in it. As soon as the very top of the sun could be seen over the horizon the cacophony began lol.
