Thanks for the pointers on the roots...I hadn't heard that before. They have lots of roosting spots in the coop that aren't shown in the pics. They like to be on a support board way up in the top corner near the ceiling. That wasn't meant to be a roost...but they like it!

My 5 red stars LOVE blueberries. They go crazy for them and will eat them out of our hands. They also really enjoy Ritz crackers.....but only if I crush them up. Whole crackers just won't do.
