These are the only two that I still can not figure out. My EE is almost 11 weeks old I feel like it is a slow maturing cockerel. My feathered footed bantam is 12 weeks.
Hi everyone, all the chicks are 6weeks old or just a couple days shy. I have a feeling 4 are pullets and 4 are cockerels. Chicks 1-4 are Easter Eggers, 5 & 7 are Cochins of whatever type, 6 is a bantam. I think my pullets are 1,3,7&8
What do you think?
It’s such a nice evening so I brought my 5 take chicks out of the 8 to the little coop outside. It took a few minutes for them to adjust but they seem to love being able to explore. It’s also so nice to see them in sunlight. I have a feeling all but the tan booted one are cockerels. Time will tell.
It’s still the starter, I just wasn’t sure if switching from the medicated to organic within two days would be hard on their stomachs or not.
