At what age do roosters usually attempt to start crowing?

Thank you! I have 1, possibly 2, cockerels that are 4 weeks old. So I was curious as to when I might be expecting their squeaky attempts at crowing lolMine are 7 weeks old, and they started to attempt it, although, it sounds more like a pitchy squeak. The fully matured sound comes when they are about 15 weeks though.
Thank you for the information!Anywhere from 2 weeks to 7 months. Most start at 3-4 months. Having existing adult roosters can slow them down a bit.

Hahaha that is funny!My 7.5 week old attempted his first yesterday. It sounds so funny! Our rooster’s expression was priceless-he was looking around like, “what the HECK is that?!?”
