One of my chickens has only ever laid for about 3 months in her life.

I'm gonna call her that to her face and see if that gets her going lol

Yes. She's the only one who lays blue eggs

I have a 2.5-year-old easter egger who only ever laid eggs for a brief period of about 3-4 months last spring. She stopped before it got hot in the summer and has not restarted. Her sisters laid consistently until November last year and started laying again about two weeks ago. She's never acted...

    Lethargic with diarrhea

I lost her. Thank you all for your help. I'll take what I've learned and use it going forward

    Lethargic with diarrhea

Thank you. She does seem much happier to be with the flock.

    Lethargic with diarrhea

Thanks, I'll put her back and keep with the corid and safeguard. I hope she'll be ok but I've been afraid of it being reproductive for a while. For the 1.5 years she laid before she stopped she always laid huge 2-3 yolkers. I knew that would reduce her longevity.

    Lethargic with diarrhea

I feel like being isolated makes her sadder. Should I still do that? I know that's what the guide says to do but I don't know if that's always best.

    Lethargic with diarrhea

Her belly is bulgy below her vent, I think. I'm not really sure what normal is supposed to look like. She's missing feathers because I had to cut a bunch off that were covered in diarrhea. I know it's not a very good picture but it's the best I could get. It's hard to tell without touching...

    Lethargic with diarrhea

My chicken is sick. She's very thin and not very sure on her feet. She has diarrhea that is basically just water. She was previously sick in May with sour crop that turned into fly strike https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/continued-poopy-butt-after-illness.1662214/. She's been better...

    Continued poopy butt after illness

She's really thin and doesn't want to stand. Poops are mostly liquid. She hasn't laid in 6 months so I kind of doubt it's egg-related.

Now she's acting sick. Her tail is down and her head is tucked into her body

    Continued poopy butt after illness

This same chicken has poopy butt feathers again. They've only just now grown back. She hasn't laid since the earlier incidents. She seems fine otherwise, but I'm afraid of the flystrike again.

    Continued poopy butt after illness

Last monistat dose was today. She seems all better. I think the diarrhea is gone and she has plenty of energy. The flystrike wound looks closed up and doesn't seem to be bothering her

    Continued poopy butt after illness

I thought the same thing but none of it was moving and that long thing came apart like mucus when I poked it with a stick. Edit: I went out and checked another one. Those small rounds white bits are rocks/oyster shell.
