I've got all 1st gen crosses. Speck sus(speckled pictured), buff orp (yellow pictured), amer, clb(dark pictured), d'uccle(millie and porcelain) in the incubator hatching this wknd. I'm waiting for him to jump on my brahma and langshan then he will have successfully accessed all my girls!

Is there anything wrong with boiling the eggs I've picked up for 7 days straight after treating my hens with Wazine 17 and feeding them to the same hens?
Ok good to know, I'm not going crazy trying to figure this out! I wish my egg supplier would have told me how similar these two would be at hatch. I'll look at the ears and see what color I find. Thanks for your help!
We ended up with 20/23 Legbars and Bielefelders. I notice the white/yellow dot on top of heads of the cockerels but cant tell the two different breeds apart. Can someone tell me the difference when 3 days old? They all look the same to me. Blurry colors with light color dot on top of head.
The more and more I read about the ups and downs of other's hens and assuming there's a broken wing initially, makes me think it's Mareks as well. My neighbor across the street had a similar situation with a hen except hers had been mauled by her dog and then after about 4 days of normal...
