    My buff orpingtons are also about 1.5 weeks old and do the same thing. I noticed they are not doing it as much but it was a constant thing. Interested to know if all breeds do the same thing as well.

    see a thread I posted about mine because I was worried. It took 20 hours and 19 of them it did nothing. Finally the last hour he made a bigger hole and then quickly zipped and he was out in 45 mins....

    wow congrats! the one I was worried about hatched last night too. Woke up to another pip. (some of my eggs are due saturday). Just for reference mine hatched last night around 9 and is still not dry yet. Slowly fluffing up from the back area forward. Still looks pretty wet though.

    Ok, excellent! He seems like a happy chick! I was more concerned that he is knocking around all the eggs like bowling pins. Did not want it to affect them hatching.

    He is out!!!! very fast once it got going!!! The thing is chirping and flapping all around! Knocking into all the eggs. He( or she) looks perfect! Now, should I leave him in there until he is dry or should I wait until all the eggs are done hatching. I do not see any other pips yet.

    I know it's so stressful the suspense is killing me! haha I just posted an updated pic in my thread...making a little process has been 19 hours now. It is still chirping and wobbling so I am hoping like you said some of the other chicks hear it and start to follow.

    today is day 21 for me too... I saw a crack last night at 12:00 its only slightly bigger as I am writing this. I posted a topic earlier today go look it might help you out as well.     I sure will! Made some small progress on the first egg. Hole is a little bigger now. The little guy is still chirping and wobbling inside.
