My buff orpingtons are also about 1.5 weeks old and do the same thing. I noticed they are not doing it as much but it was a constant thing. Interested to know if all breeds do the same thing as well.
Hi, I am on day 21 now and two have hatched with another piped. The two that have hatched seem to be fighting in the incubator. They are pecking at each other's faces. and the chirps are not pleasant ones when they are fighting. Almost looks as if they are going for each other's eyes! Is this...
see a thread I posted about mine because I was worried. It took 20 hours and 19 of them it did nothing. Finally the last hour he made a bigger hole and then quickly zipped and he was out in 45 mins....

Now, should I leave him in there until he is dry or should I wait until all the eggs are done hatching. I do not see any other pips yet.
I know it's so stressful the suspense is killing me! haha I just posted an updated pic in my thread...making a little process has been 19 hours now. It is still chirping and wobbling so I am hoping like you said some of the other chicks hear it and start to follow.
today is day 21 for me too... I saw a crack last night at 12:00 its only slightly bigger as I am writing this. I posted a topic earlier today go look it might help you out as well. Everyone advised me to leave it alone for a while could take 12+ hours to hatch. Hope this helps! Good luck with...
