    Orpingtons: the good, bad and ugly

    Our Buff hens are great, very docile and friendly, I got them as day old chicks from murray mcmurray, have always handled them. Great layers, had three go broody, we want this. In our flock they are second in the pecking order. Our roo is very protective and gentle with the hens.

    Was able to make alot of progress on the Silkie tractor this weekend, still need to build a door into the run, add hinges to all the doors, surround the run with wire, make the ramp, coop door, paint it, build roosting bars. Going to take a couple more weekends.

    Good morning, I wanted to share an update, this build is taking alot longer than I expected. Today the hardware cloth is going on. Do you try and install it in one piece and trim around or cut it in lengths? Thank you
