I have a broody chicken, I have no rooster. I have tried picking her up to move her out to free range ( mostly just to steal the eggs). Every time she pecks at me and scratches. Advice?

There is a fox den about 20 feet from my coop!!!!!!!!! I think it got a he this morning and I'm missing a mallard but she might have flown away to stay safe. I hope she comes back! My boyfriend is definitely at war! There are at least 3 babies and the mom..... Out comes the 22!

That is possible she is the most motherly of our birds. But I don't have a rooster. I do have ducks and a drake maybe she will sit on those eggs.... I have a duck that is hidding her eggs oooor just not laying. :/

I have a hen that has a 2.5 inch circle on her lower chest belly area that has no feathers and is red and dry. Any ideas? I nedd to take a picture but I need another set of hands

My dog does the same thing my chickens either fly away or just ignore her. When they were little my dog ignored the chickens and they were all over her trying to get her up and playing so I think its fair My ducks play follow the leader with my dog

Yeah mine actually get that concept but for some reason they don't like to move in the snow. She was standing in a spot where there was no snow but would not move .... but during the day time they walk around like normal

my chickens normally free range in the after noon and find the way to to coop by 3:30 but the snow... I'm guessing has them all messed up. One decided to roost on my front lawn and one of the others is now missing im sure she is roosting some where but finding her in 5 acres proves to be pretty...
