I also had a canada goose gosling brought to us by a couple who found it on a highway, all by itself. We have ducks, chickens and a big pond on small acreage. This gosling is now about 12 days old, and has settled in nicely. He imprinted on me mostly, but is content to follow my husband too...

One of my white hens that we hatched in incubator last summer went broody just after Christmas and hatched one chick. The other 3 eggs didn't hatch. They have their own caged in area in the coop with all the other chickens and ducks. Nice to see her raising her one little chick.
