I don't seem to have any in-between photos. The shoulder color came on shortly after that group shot and the two long tail feathers seemingly sprouted over night just a few days ago, along with the increase in comb. Still not much for wattle.

I think I may have gotten this kid's gender figured out but would love some opinions. This chick is almost 8 weeks old and comes from watered down Marans hen parentage with an Olive Egger roo father. The last photo is the sort of cockerel I think it's going to be. -Thank you.

White and black chick has a SLW mother and we though RIR father, but where'd he get the muff? He seems the obvious roo. He has a huge frame compared to the others, and feet, chunky legs, white patches on shoulders and chest, a roundish tail, and check out that comb and wattle situation.
