Hi! I'm also in NJ, Warren Township, and new to chickens. My one cuckoo bluebar is now 8 weeks old; I'm pretty sure she's a she at this point. How old was yours when she started to lay? I've read some places that they are "precocious." Mine certainly feathered earlier than the Black Australorps and Austra Whites I brooded at the same time. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello!
