    I have the same problems with ducks. It is pulling the head out the fence and eating the head off or biting the neck. Do you think it is a weasel? I set some body traps on the inlet and outlet of the pond. Any other tips for catching (killing) it?

    Introducing naked neck to flock?

    I have a flock of 10 hens and 2 roosters and I wold like to introduce my naked neck pullet to the group. How do you make this transition go well so she don't get hurt? My worry is she has thin skin and i don't want her pecked open or deeply scratched. Any help would be great! Thanks Holly

    Flea?

    I was wondering to chickens get fleas? I have had lice in the past and i know what they look like. It is a small black jumping thing that looks like a flea but when I squeeze them they do not pop like a flea would. Also they do bite. Thankyou for any help........ I know that 1 chicken has it on...

    Best big brown eggs

    I have a Red Star and she is the best layer! It don't matter if it is hot or cold. Also she is very friendly and smart!
