    freezing locks

    How do I keep the locks from freezing every a.m.? Today I had to pour hot H2o on them -not wanting to do this every day.. also some say keep poop in the coop for insulation and keep adding bedding to it.. I'm not too fond of that also have been reading it adds humidity.. this is my 1st winter...
