    no you dont need anything for their skin they are built with thicker skin than normal chickens and not all of them are boys they can be girls and the person meant chicken as in a hen

    I think they look so cute when they go through losing their down feathers! awh he obviously cares for them :D Our chicks are outside in a chicken house but they were hatched from a broody so she keeps the warm thanks!
