    Yeah I figure there are better breeds, but I'd also like the size of their hides too. I'm getting into tanning and need some furs to make things out of...on our hunt this weekend we saw nothing but a coon and I have that hide in my freezer right now, waiting for my egg production to be higher so...

    Best dog around chickens and children?

    I have a great pyrenees. VERY sweet dog and she's very protective of my 9 month old son and the chickens. We got her as a puppy the week after we brought Ben home from the hospital so they've been growing up together. She's excellent at guarding everybody/everything.
