    Lethargic then died

    One of my silkie hens was acting strange yesterday and then today she was dead. I found her isolated last night from the flock and she seemed a bit off but I didn't think too much of it. She spent the entire day free ranging and acting fine. Had access to fresh water and two different feeds...

    What kind of smell does coryza cause?. There is a smell but I'm not sure if it's the chickens or some rotted eggs( the free range chicken go under our barn and we can't get to the eggs) ? Is Tylan available at local feed stores? Or is there some special places you have to go ? @Eggcessive

    I've had the hen since she was 2 days old . If she is from a hatchery would she be vaccinated for these kind of things ? Would it eventually kill her without treatment?

    I noticed my polish hen laying down on her side. When we picked her up her nose was all dirty like it was oozing snot. I didnt really think anything of it until my other hen had the same symptoms . Now I'm really worried they are going to spread it to my new chicks. What could it be ?
