    Do I need to feed my chicken poultry grit? Also, I heard that you can feed your chicken (chicken eggshells) opposed to oyster shells. Is that a reasonable substitute? Thanks for the love

    New Coop design (trap door with ladder)

    What are your thoughts about having a raised floor in the coop and having the door in the bottom and putting a latter up through it opposed to have an exterior door and a ladder up to it? Thoughts recommendations? I am trying to elminate the draftiness of the coop.

    It is so weird I go in the backyard and one of the chickens will be squated down with her wings out looking like she is getting ready to lay an egg and NOTHING. Is she taking a dust bath or laying trying to lay an egg but just constipated?
