Well interesting 7 week update. I’m starting to lean more towards cockerel. This bird still has a timid and stand offish personality with a rather small comb but it is getting redder. Just for fun, I have a 5 day update. The wattles continue to stay pinkish but haven’t grown much. Comb is still small and mostly yellow. This chick doesn’t stand like a cockerel and is quite a “chicken”. Runs from everything and is definitely a follower. I will keep waiting.- MandBducks

Sapphire Gem opinions wanted
My Sappire Gem started laying at 16 weeks, lays about 5-6 eggs per week, and is so sweet. She follows me around and is always happy to see me. I will say her only downfall is she is my loudest. That girl can screeeeech.- MandBducks
