I got some great shots. She let me touch her and her babies as much as I wanted. Just a fabulous mama. Sadly, this was her first and only hatch, as she was taken by a predator a few months later.

I got the pictures! 3 of them are around 2 weeks old and the rest are around a day old. Supposed to be 1 BO, 1 SS, 2 BJG, 1 Welsummer, and 1 NHR. The SS is mine, does anyone have any name suggestions for her? She was also posing for me. Emo also looks kinda suspicious with their comb already growing but Missy’s isn’t...

I got 1 chick hatched early early this morning & the other egg has been externally pipped since early this morning but no movement or change that I can see. I’m being patient.

The hatched chick does go up to the egg chirping & then starts pecking at the pip & laying with the egg. I’m hoping that’s a good sign & that the unhatched chick is alive & resting..
