Ok thanks! I was just wondering.I know you didnāt ask me, but unscented puppy pads and paper towels are commonly used for the first week or two.
I got some great shots. She let me touch her and her babies as much as I wanted. Just a fabulous mama. Sadly, this was her first and only hatch, as she was taken by a predator a few months later.@pitbullgurl, I love the pictures in your post. The last one is precious.
I was scared for a second when I saw that you accidentally put dies instead of tries. I thought that one of the chicks died.I got 1 chick hatched early early this morning & the other egg has been externally pipped since early this morning but no movement or change that I can see. Iām being patient.
The hatched chick dies go up to the egg chirping & then starts pecking at the pip & laying with the egg. Iām hoping thatās a good sign & that the unhatched chick is alive & resting..
Whoops! Iāll fix that!I was scared for a second when I saw that you accidentally put dies instead of tries. I thought that one of the chicks died.
Mine come in April (45 days) and I couldnāt be happierI can't wait for mine to come! It'll be at least April probably, maybe later![]()
