I’ve recently gotten some adorable splash Ameracaunas, day old from Meyer Hatchery. I only got three cause that’s all they had, and those are the only chicks I’m raising right now. They are three days old and doing really well, sleeping and eating and drinking and pooping like they should. But one kind of concerns me and I just want to hear someone else’s take or opinion on this. So every time I check on them, there’s two cuddles together and one is on the other side of the brooder. She seems to want to be alone, not necessarily forced to be by the others as they interact like normal when drinking and eating and running around. But my experience has always been that the one that’s always by herself is either an outcast and bullied or sick. But this one really seems normal. No outward signs of anything wrong with her at all. Maybe I’m just too worried and overthinking, but is this normal chick behavior? I’d really appreciate some input! I love my chicks, they’re not just chickens, they’re my beloved pets 🐥

Sounds like she's o.k.

Some chicks just don't like socializing or being in a cuddle puddle. If she's eating/drinking and interacting with the others when they are up and about, I wouldn't worry about her.
