    Lol on the strollers. I was assuming keeping the sliding door open with the screen closed would provide the ventilation. Might that be too much? Too cold? Too drafty? Obviously if I bought the coop and put it inside, then it would be fine, but converting the sunroom to a coop might be too much...

    I have a sunroom off one of my bedrooms, sliding door etc, which we never use. Glass sliding doors all around, and 3 sky lights above. Concrete floor. It has an electric heater inside (which we never use). I was thinking of either converting this to a coop, putting in roosts and nesting boxes...

    Thanks for all the quick replies! Currently, they allow it with a special exception. I have 1.2 acres of land (mostly hill and woods) so the size of my land isn't the problem, and I'm sure the neighbors will be ok with it. I'm just not sure if I want to invest the 250 to get the exception...

    Hello All, I'm a new member interested in starting in the backyard chicken game. I'm in SE PA, but where I am currently doesn't allow chickens, except by special exception ($250! application fee) Before I go through with all that I've been trying to learn as much as I can, to know if I'm ready...
