    Thanks for your input! I live in central Alberta and I'd say here in our rural community our most likely predators are coyotes and Hawks. When I found them they were all still warm. The multiple kill, multiple attack sites it's likely a coyote. And you're probably right about me interrupting...

    After the chicks hatch, do I offer medicated or unmediated feed to the hen and chicks? I have a lavender Orpington sitting on a clutch. I intend to leave her with the flock and not seperate her and her chicks out. So medicated or not?
