    Broody hen has worms

Hi, We have a broody hen that has one more week to sit before hatch. We noticed some worms in her poo today. Can she be wormed now, and what should we use.? We don't want the babies to catch it too. Thank you for any advice, we are pretty new at this.

    Do your chickens eat worms??

My chickens did not like earth worms either. Now I raise Meal-worms for my chickens, they absolutly LOVE them. The Meal-worms are raised in oatmeal, are very clean, and do not smell. You may wont to read up on them. I have never seen a chicken that turned down a meal worm.

    Baytril dose?

    Anybody in Indiana?

I am in the South Bend area. I have 7 hennies and I love them very much. First thing when I get home is to check in on the girls. In the Morning they get their warm oatmeal before my husband and I get our breakfast. They are like children to me. Nice to see so many people that love their chickens.
