    Sprouting oats in kitchen

    Hi, I have never tried to sprout oats but I do sprout whole wheat and I let them grow to 2 or 3 inches and my chickens love them. Very easy to sprout whole wheat..... My chicken will not eat the rolled oats so I quit buying oats.

    Hi everyone, I started mixing my own feed for my chickens back in November but now lots of my chickens are losing lots of feathers including a group without a rooster their saddle feathers are gone, I have 2 groups one group with rooster and 1 group without but even the roosters have bare areas...

    Thank you so much, I have that Permethrin 10 and I have used it on the coop and nesting boxes but wasn't sure if I could put it on the chickens and that may be why I can not get rid of them cause I was not using it on the chickens them selfves.

    Thank you for your reply I really believe they are fleas, do lice jump? this are this tiny little black bugs that jump on me and the chicken combs have this tiny black bugs stuck to them. I am desperate cause they are starting to lose the little feathers that start on their combs.

    Help, my chickens got fleas and I really don't know how to get rid of them all......I have sprayed the coop with Permethrin 10 and put coconut oil on their comb and also dusted the chickens with Diatomaceous Earth it seems to help but they come back, what else can I do please help, them fleas...
