    This coop was built over a 20'x4' slab that was an old dog run. 90% of the materials was scrap that I had in my barn. I think it turned out half way decent.

    Silkie Cross Breeds

    Silkie mother unfortunately 3 different fathers. There was a RIR Roo and a large marsh rooster competing on the farm along with a feisty silkie roo that doesn't back down.

    I figured most were roosters. The dark black one is already crowing. This little brown one I am pretty sure is a hen. and 2 of the 3 pure silkie are hens but i am only guessing because of the lack of a pronounced comb.
