Got my first 19 Cotournix eggs in the bator Friday PM!!!!!! This is my first batch EVER to hatch....keep your fingers crossed!!!! Any special "tricks of the trade" I might have missed?
Processed my first 4 (out of 24) A&M pharoahs last night.... as previously noted, only 2 of the birds are white; the rest are brown, so I guess that they have interbred over time...
I found the meat to be between somewhere between the white and dark meat of a chicken, but with a really sweet...
We just processed our first four pharoahs yesterday....they're on the menu tonight!!!! Don't know yet if I can bring myself to the table.... Will keep you posted... Hubby already talking about getting more chicks.
