    I think you are spot on. Two greys are boys, one cuckoo and one blue. The other two have me confused. I think number 1 is a pullet and 2 may be a roo in denial? What do you think? They are 6 weeks now

    I hatched from shipped eggs that were a combination of black copper, silver cuckoo, golden cuckoo, and birchen. 4 hatched and I am guessing they are cuckoo? I am thinking I may have 2 girls and 2 boys. Know it is very early days but I am keen to get your views on a) what breed has hatched...

    Advice needed

    Here is how she emerged. She pipped at day 22 and hatched unassisted within 24 hours. Temperatures have been really consistent mostly around 99.5 and lowest 97.5.

    I am a first time incubator and one of our chicks hatched overnight and has a big balloon type ball hanging from behind her. Is this intestines and what should we do to help her if anything?
