    Hi, my female gambles quail has started laying eggs. I'm not a breeder and just thought I'd see if anyone is interested in these. I have 5 eggs. I'm not sure if this is something that can be shipped. I live in Ventura county, California if someone wants to pick them up.

    Thank you. Sounds like it could be a fun time for all. Them to throw it all around and for me to watch it them. I never knew what personalities they have. I'm really enjoying them and just want to make sure I cause them no harm.

    Do I need to keep my adult quail warm in winter (southern California)

    Also, what can I use for betting? They mostly perch but I want to provide something in case they want a nest like area. Can I use Timothy hay that they sell at pet stores for rabbits?
