    I had her out with them the other day. No barriers or cages. The others showed no aggression but I also didn’t leave them in that situation for long. Anyone have any input on how long these reintroductory play dates should be?

    sorry I couldn’t get a better pic but here she is now..is she ready to rejoin the flock? She’s laid two eggs in the last five days. Have taken her outside and she will look through leaves for noms. Just worried the other girls will find any scabbing

    It’s right on the border between the wing and the body. It is raised. A scab makes sense. We were trying to introduce the cats to them and one of them went a little far with it but we didn’t see any damage at the time

    Got two new chicks a month ago. One of them has a dark, rather hard bump on her skin. Is this a problem and if so, can we do anything about it?

    I agree. Is there anything we can do? I seem to remember seeing something about when an egg ruptures inside, the outlook is bleak. She’s pretty listless but has been drinking water if we guide her to it
