    Hi Two Crows! Thanks for posting this thread. It has helped us a lot! We have isolated one of our problem birds and the second will be isolated as soon as the first is reintroduced to the flock. Good info from other members too!

    Hi Sarge, Welcome to BYC! We have 8 hens who lay about 4 to 6 eggs per day. The Reds lay almost daily and I read they can lay 250 eggs per year or more. The Andelusian lays only every other day at most. Since it is cold now, they all seem to be slowing down and we get more like 4 eggs a day...
