Shark & Digger when they were weeks old.
These EE's are so tame, loving and enjoy being held and petted. This is Digger when she was just months old.
She likes to fly up on the chair arm when I am sitting...

Thanks for posting this thread. It has helped us a lot! We have isolated one of our problem birds and the second will be isolated as soon as the first is reintroduced to the flock.

We have 8 hens who lay about 4 to 6 eggs per day. The Reds lay almost daily and I read they can lay 250 eggs per year or more. The Andelusian lays only every other day at most. Since it is cold now, they all seem to be slowing down and we get more like 4 eggs a day...

This is our first winter with our 8 Sisters. We are a bit anxious about this winter weathering our chickens. Any suggestions for snowy winters in Western Colorado areas? We've got the warmer for the water, the heat light and ventilation. Any advice is much appreciated! Matt & CJ
