Checking-In On Peeps - Post Here To Say Hello!

aaah, just saw the email lol. I'm still alive as well lol, but unfortunately I don't have any birds at the moment. Moved across the country a few years prior and had to give all of them away :(, and currently too occupied to get new ones. Give it a couple more years and I'll probably get more...

How to deal with a persistent juvenile cooper's hawk?

Currently, I have 2 peafowl and 6 doves. A few months ago a cooper's hawk decided to pay an interesting visit to my yard in the late afternoon. He sat atop of an aviary I made(at that time holding my 2 peafowl), and would not leave until I chased it away. A second, third, and fourth time would...

    Peachick foot infection?

Oh dear. That's gruesome... As for mine, they were developing cuts in their skin, particularly in the places of joints. Peachick foot infection?

I put them in a cardboard box with paper towels covering them during the night. They stay in a chicken wire cage I made for them during the day, and I let them out for 3-4 hours each day.

    Peachick foot infection?

I have 4 peachicks currently, and two of them weeks ago somehow obtained breakages in their skin. I've sprayed their feet with new skin, but now, it seems that there is swelling and necrosis on one: and mild swelling in the second: I'm regularly cleaning their feet right now with alcohol and...

Peacock suddenly dies within 12 hours :(

That's unlikely. he didn't show any symptoms in the previous evening, except not flying towards his usual perch.
