    Thanks to everyone for your input. Kinda new to chickens so everything poses more questions.

    They were outside as usual in a large area surrounding my 24x36 garage. I feed them bagged crumble from the feed store, a head of lettuce almost every day, some scratch feed, and have oyster shell available. 4 hens.

    I went out to the coop a little bit ago and it looks like one of my hens had been beat up. Tail feathers were missing, the feathers on top of her wings had been picked off and skin exposed? The other hens looked ok and they had been outside of the coop all day on my property? Any ideas.?

    Bought 5 Golden Comets right after Easter. Learning as I go, having a great time....what personalities they have!!!!
