    Exchequer leghorn

Looking at dates it’s probably five weeks, but I assume that wouldn’t make too much of a difference… It’s been very sweet to us, but has just started to bully the other girls.

    Exchequer leghorn

This is supposed to be a female, but at four weeks looks like a male. Can anyone confirm my suspicions? Thank you!

Please help - Exchequer chick with lump below vent

Hi. We just received new chicks from Meyers on Tuesday and we were cleaning the vent of our exchequer and noticed this irritated lump. Has anyone ever seen this before? Any thoughts on what to do would be greatly appreciated. We really do not want to lose this chick.

We can’t keep a rooster in our town. So I am looking for a home to keep him, not harm him. He is pretty docile. Located northern suburbs of Chicago, could deliver within a reasonable distance. Thanks!

I have a feeling chick 2 is a cockerel. He/she is more scraggly and bigger than chick 1… I also read that if the comb starts at the nostrils it’s a roo. Does anyone know if that’s accurate?

    Easter egger?
