    our summers aren’t what they used to be! some really like it, others not so much. I try to keep it topped up with ice cause that way even the ones who aren’t getting in it so like to drink from it. it’s like a big puddle for them.

    9 little babes out of her 11! she has gotten off the last 2 eggs, so I candled them and they seem to have quit somewhere along the line. I only candled around day 9 for fertility and removed 1 then, so they could of stopped developing at any point since then.

    love your white flock! we were only able to find Partridge Chantecler in our area, but so far they have been a delight to watch grow and we hope they’re a big part of our dual purpose meat flock. I mostly loved that they were a Canadian breed!
