Need help my Comet has stopped drinking and eating.

Hi, I am on day 2 with one comet about 10 months old stopped eating or drinking. She appears to have a crawl full of corn but above that seems to be also a lump. I think she ate something and got it hung. I can massage the corn but the knot is hard. Question, should I try and force water down...

    Silkie thread!

I have 5 silks and they are about 2 months old. I do think 2 of the 5 are roo's. I know these breeds are calmer. Will I need to separate them as they get older? Thanks.

    Silkie thread!

I do have them in a covered enclosed lot attached to their coop and also an outdoor movable run to graze. Is there any special care for their feet with those feathers? What would you suggest for bedding to keep their indoor coop dry during the winter? Thanks

    Silkie thread!

Sorry, that would help. We average between 20 and 30 degrees in winter. Sometimes falling to 10 degrees. Not snowy but when we get it it's normally wet and nasty. Thanks

    Silkie thread!

Hello, I have a few questions about caring for my silks this winter. I have not had this breed before and have read they need a more insulated enclosure during colder weather. Also how do they fair with those feathers on their feet and cold, wet weather. I have them in a coop with a movable run...
