    I love Ren Fairs! There's one in NC we go to every year http://www.royalfaires.com/carolina/ It's held in Oct-Nov on weekends. The fall makes it more confortable for the heavy costumes. I just love the Joust!

    Sick Hen?

    One of my hens is behaving strange. She's not eating, not laying, and will extend her neck and make what seems like a coughing noise. It's like she has something caught in her throat. Any suggestions?

    Show me your veggie gardens please!

    Here's my veggie garden Things are just getting started in the garden, but we are looking to have early peas, strawberries and lettuce (mixed greens) within the next few weeks. The other veggies should start coming in around end of June. Then we eat until frost!
