we rescued 4 Cornish X last fall and now they are about 10-15 Lbs. we don’t feed them continuously but they are now laying GIANT eggs...color is spotted pinkish brown really cool looking.
Thanks, yea...I heard that too, but just wanted to see if that's a common solution...They free range, but I also supply grit...should I also supply the oyster shells for the calcium?
I have 1 layer right now and have introduced a few youngin's and was wondering if there was a feed that I could use for both egg laying and in between chickens? I heard that the non laying chicks should not have layer food, so was trying to keep it simple.

Hey ya'all my name is Matt and I live directly in between ATL and Athens in Georgia. I have 6 chickens and they are Americus, Barred Rock, While leghorn, and New Hampshire Red. We have 1 layer and 5 pullets right now, but absolutely love having them run around our back yard!
