I just hard boiled 6 eggs from my leghorns went to peel them and they have a sandy finish under that little layer of film and the have a jello consistancy with the yolk very hard and dry any reasons regular store bought for the same amount of time 15 min was perfect.

No idea if the typical freezing doesn't work I know there is some topical creams you can get but it might require medical professionals and actually removing them
I have 3 mine started laying at 16-17 weeks and also laid really well for a couple of weeks had 2 jelly eggs and then nothing for weeks they just started laying again
