    Definitely getting cooler, won't be long til the water needs defrosting on a morning. The war with mites seems neverending, on the verge of just setting it on fire and buying a new one. Spent a few hours cleaning it and treating it then found this when I needed to refelt above the nest boxes...

    Hi there. Just rescued two dumped chickens from the woods near me and I'm guessing they are boys? I have no idea about breed though but guessing mixed breed? Also what age do you think they are? They aren't crowing at the moment so I'm thinking they aren't that old? Thanks for reading.

    Just dish soap and warm water to loosen the egg sack things and kinda wiggled them off.

    How many chickens do you have? I had this problem on a small flock so I bathed them to get the eggs off then gave them another spray just to be safe.
