Can someone please help me with the gender of these two. I brought 8 'week olds' and have three known roosters that all look typically red and roostery. Three obvious females and these two who I'm on the fence about since they don't particularly look like either the rooster set or hen set...- MEEmery

We adopted 8 chooks who are around 9 weeks now. I have two with this sort of comb. The other has started crowing and will be returning to the seller on Friday morning who is kind enough to accept unwanted roo's. Our run is covered with just a tarp. We have a lot of indian minors that like to fly in and steal the food we keep for them outside the pen. They've since learnt to dart between the bars but they're slower and my chooks are slowly getting more aggressive with them which is nice to see. Highly...- MEEmery

We went to a babies birthday which had a petting zoo that hosted a lot of chooks. I assumed this one was an Angus but the zookeeper suggested it might be a mixed breed Agatha. Baby loves our chookies Thoughts?- MEEmery

Don't have any company mill suggestions but I've seen people reuse the bags to sell manure. If you have any livestock, scoop up their poops, bag them and stick them out the front with a sign. $2 a bag. If people steal them, so be it, but most people are honest. Can help feed the chooks if its an...- MEEmery

We accidently short changed the local we brought form. A bit of a miscommunication between hubby and I. The local was gracious and despite probably being only $5-$10 short of what she originally asked for I'd like to return them to not burn a bridge should we ever need more babies. Hola! from Tindal, NT. 8 chookins.. not sure how many are roos as we got them a few weeks old. Fairly certain 2 are so far. A third I'm on the fence about lol. Nice to find an Aussie thread going- MEEmery
