    Light sussex - Gender determination

    Picture of 5 chicks is at 5 1/2 weeks. Pullet at front, rest are boys. One at back is slow developing. Other is 2 of the boys at 8 weeks. Even the slow developer was showing red by 8 weeks. Hope this helps for future hatches.

    We have been getting 3 a day from 3 hens for last 8 days. Got 2 chicks to swell the ranks.

    They have a heat plate and are in a warm kitchen (25c). Food and water. Pooping well. They have been a bit more settled today. Unfortunately we had a poor hatch and only got 2. Thanks for replying
