    It was the grossest thing I’ve ever done. I am definitely in the “morning sickness” all day phase. Which sucks, but is also good because I’ve been home from work and regardless of what happens I got to spend some time with DeeDee:)

    Thank you!!! I’m giving her another bath now and I’ll send some more pics or her vent. I can take her to the vet, antibiotics are totally doable...surgery, not so much:/ thank you for replies and I’ll be sending pics soon!

    I’m not sure what led up to it?? I only know it was fly strike from this website when I found maggots all over her yesterday.     Hi, I’ve been using this site for a while just for information and it’s great! I have 2, 4 year old brown chickens. I can’t remember breed name, but they are CeeCee and DeeDee. They get to run around the back yard all day and then sleep in their coop at night
