plants/grass in duck area?
we have 2 ducks. they live in the backyard in a fenced in area. they have a pool and a house for shelter. the grass is dead, it is all dirt/mud. they keep escaping to eat the grass. they love greens! what can we put in there so they can always have access to greens? something that will grow fast... -

we got daisy at a store and she was vaccinated but we got clyde from a breeder and he wasn't. do people normally vaccinate them? just take the to a vet? -
duckling swollen neck and chest to the right
i have a 2 and a half old khaki campbell duck. her trachea appears to be tilted to the right. we pull it to the left and it goes back. it looks like half of her next chest is off centered or swollen? is this bad? she is acting fine. -
feather ball on top of head
my 2 week old kahki campbell duck has this big ball of feather on the top of her head then a smaller one next to it. Had it since she was born. It is almost like a cowlick. Is this common? It's kind of cute, I just wonder why she has it. -
duckling outside?
My pekin duck, clyde is 4 weeks old and my khaki campbell duck, daisy is just over 2 weeks old. they have been in an empty pool in our garage. my husband is making a nice duck coop outside but it won't be ready until tomorrow. We just cleaned our garage out. My question is, will they be okay... -
my duck is obsessed with me. help.
my 2 week old duck clyde lost his duck friends. he litteraly screams when we walk away or leave him alone. i have him inside right now, i either carry him around in a box or he follows me. i dont know what to do, my husband and i work. i dont want to get rid of him. we cant afford more... -
dead duckling, maybe too hot?
i had my two ducklings outside in the shade with water they could swim in and food. its pretty warm out but they had shade. husband said they were panting so he put them in the water. one is fine but the other slowed down and died. why?! -

That is a great idea!! They were born on the 6th. Do you think I can put them in the tub now without the heat lamp? -

ducklings growing too big for storage bin
My 2 ducklings are almost two weeks old. They are in a storage bin in the garage with wood chips and a heat lamp (that isn't on all the time) but it's too small of a home now that they are growing. Can't put them outside until their feathers come in. What should I do? -

I picked up another duckling today from the breeder and I noticed how insensitive they were towards them. Am I the only one that gets attached easily and sees them as having their own personalities? They are likes pets to me!
