Flock doing well this afternoon. Honestly they all seem a lot more relaxed. Cupcake and Muffin aren’t getting picked on which is good. I gave them a quarter of a watermelon topped with blackberries as a treat about an hour ago and it had been reduce to a pink puddle in a green shell.

I would actually try giving the silkie the batch. It may not work and you would have to keep a very close eye on them. Unless she is proving to not be a suitable mother. If not then put the chick with the others.
If the silkie is not broody do not introduce them. The chick won't be happy on his own though, you will most definitely have to buy some chicks of the same age for him.
