Chicalina's 2021 rainbow bantam mixed flock hatching thread

Well these little blighters are growing like weeds! Still teensy tiny but lovely wing feathers coming in.
The first one could be an OEGB mix, and the third looks like a gold laced sebright. The middle chick looks like a mix. Unless they’re all supposed to be purebred?

Thank you. I don't know which pics you mean since I've posted loads!

They are all supposed to be pure breeds. I think I've cracked the sebright but that is all so far.

I've got a better thread for ID-ing them if you want to have a proper go!! 😁 (please)

And these are today's new babies so far...

I can't remember which is which though!

A second Barnevelder just hatched. Both Barneys pipped and zipped from the narrow end of the egg away from the air sac. Little miracles they are!

I've got 1 more Barnevelder egg and 3 more Welsummer eggs to hatch. It is now the end of day 21. No pips in those yet.

I’m going to wait until they’re older to try and guess again, seeing as I was pretty off the first time. Though, since they’re all supposed to be purebred, my guess is you have a lot of seramas (due to the mixed looking colors).

I’d assume the chipmunk chick is a welsummer.

Great, thanks!

Hey, you got the sebright right 😊.

So here are the new 3 babies together. The remaining 4 eggs didn't hatch and on eggtopsy I could see they didn't develop. 3/10 eggs is rubbish but hey ho, they were shipped.

These little pipsqueaks are so delicate!
