They said that he will probably remain aggressive if the turkey stays with him & that because the turkey won't grow as big as an emu that he may never be nice & calm again protecting it. Natural instincts I guess. We usually let the emus roam our yard but when the turkey came he charged...

My male emu has become super aggressive & downright horrible.
Story - a few weeks ago my neighbour gave us a baby turkey which Barry (the emu) kind of adopted. On the advice from our local wildlife park, I finally managed to get the turkey away from him...
A quick update - My computer monitor broke down & have just replaced it so havent been on for a while.
We found the nest & we now have 5 good eggs, they have broken about 4 eggs so far. I actually put the random eggs in a totally different place to where the nest is, so they must have thought...
No just the 1 male & female, (Barry & Megan) its their first time so I am assuming he doesnt really know what he is doing.
He is very cranky at the moment, fluffing up & trying to push me around. Which is unusual as he is usually NICE & enjoys a pat, which at the moment he wont have any part...

I dont have to many feathered friends, 3 hens & 2 emus so far. Hens are laying well & get on with the dogs, cat & emus so far. My lady emu has just started laying without any success so far...
